The Board is governed by Royal Charter and Standing Orders. These were revised in 2006. The Board and its Sub-Committees meet at least three times a year. Each sub-committee can appoint up three co-optees who are independent of the Carnegie UK Trust. The current sub-committee composition is as follows:
