The Community Land Trust Empowerment Fund project was supported by a £500,000 grant from the Empowerment Fund of the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and completed at the end of March 2012.  This project was delivered in partnership between the Trust and Community Finance Solutions (University of Salford.)  Through the project the Community Land Trust Network (hosted by the National Housing Federation) and the Devon, Somerset and Dorsett Umbrella CLT Project were created. Both now run as independent organisations providing vital support to the CLT sector in England and Wales.

Carnegie UK Trust continues it's support of this sector through membership of the Community Land Trust Network Board.
