Measuring What Matters in 2012

In January 2012, the Trust has produced a short summary of its ‘More Than GDP’ work over the last 7 months, and its ambitious plans for the year ahead.
 
In May 2011, the Carnegie UK Trust Round Table on Measuring Economic Progress in Scotland published its ground-breaking report, ‘More Than GDP: Measuring What Matters’. Since then, the Trust has been working hard to lead public debate about how society can more accurately measure prosperity and wellbeing. The Trust has now produced a short summary of its ‘More Than GDP’ work over the last 7 months, and its ambitious plans for the year ahead. In the new year, the Trust will be pursuing initiatives that try to embed and enhance ‘More Than GDP’ thinking with the media, public policymakers, and citizens. To download the report, click here.
