Power Moves: Exploring Power and Influence in the UK

Cover: Power Moves: Exploring Power and Influence in the UK

This report has been developed as part of the Carnegie UK Trust’s interest in how civil society associations apply and engage with power and influence. The report tells the stories of four recent policy decisions and examines the role of civil society associations in influencing the decision.  The four case studies explore the issues of energy, school dinners, equalities and English language teaching. We hope these stories will be of practical value to individuals, activists, campaigners, community organisers and civil society associations in thinking through the variety of strategies – power moves – that can be adopted to affect change.
