Call for Expressions of Interest: Understanding Welsh Places
November 2, 2018
The Carnegie UK Trust is inviting expressions of interest to create a website called ‘Understanding Welsh Places’. This project follows the success of the Understanding Scottish Places website and is intended to create a data-based typology of places and an accessible website.
The call covers two complementary aspects of the Understanding Welsh Places website, and we invite Expressions of Interest for one or both of the elements, and particularly welcome bids from consortia. There is no need to submit a price at this stage.
The successful contractor (or contractors) will: develop, build and maintain the website itself; curate and process the data for presentation on the website, including the development of a typology of welsh places.
The Institute of Welsh Affairs (IWA) will be the main contact point for the successful contractor.
The deadline for the first phase is the 20th November 2018. Expressions of interest will then be assessed and invitations to tender will be issued directly. Queries should be directed to the IWA (contact details within) by the 13th November 2018.
