Journalism and the Economy: Carnegie and Cleraun to hold Dublin Roundtable

Roundtable members will include: Stephen Kinsella, University of Limerick; Carmel Crimmins, Reuters; Brian O’Donovan, TV3; Kate Shanahan, DIT School of Media; Seamus Dooley, NUJ; Julia Paul, Queen’s University; Margaret E. Ward, Clear Ink; and Reynaldo Rivera, InterMedia Social Innovation. The debate will be part of the annual Cleraun Media Conference, which this year focuses on the role of journalists in investigating financial and economic stories.The conference takes place from 17-19 October in Dublin.

The Carnegie Roundtable continues the Trust’s work on journalism and economic issues, following the successful event with Channel 4 and the International Broadcasting Trust in 2013 and previous research in partnership with Demos.
