#NotWithoutMe @ the BBC
February 27, 2017
Supporting digital inclusion for vulnerable young people.
The Trust is hosting an interactive half-day event on the theme of digital skills and inclusion for vulnerable young people as part of the BBC’s Digital Cities Week Glasgow #DigiCities.
We’re looking for enthusiastic attendees with an interest in digital inclusion or working with young people, to discuss, debate and create tailored solutions for those often overlooked as ‘digital natives’.
The afternoon will be held at the prestigious BBC Scotland Centre in Glasgow and will run from 12-5pm on Wednesday 15th March. The sessions will include lightening talks, active discussion groups and innovative design activities. They will provide participants a space to share ideas, explore challenges, meet others in the sector and look for creative opportunities. The Trust will also be sharing insights from #NotWithoutMe which began in January 2016, and looking for input to design the next steps.
Further information including a more detailed agenda and the opportunity to register can be found here. The event is free to attend and you are encouraged to share this invitation with your own networks. Booking will close Tuesday 7th March.
The Trust welcomes your comments, questions or ideas for discussions, which you can tweet to #NotWithoutMe. You can also use this hashtag to keep updated on the day.
If you have any questions please speak to Anna Grant on [email protected].
