Local Environmental Problems And Wellbeing – A Case Study Of Action

This case study profiles the Llwynhendy Growing Spaces Project.

The community-led project was developed as part of the Welsh Government’s Communities First initiative.  The Llwynhendy Environmental Group worked with the local authority (Carmarthenshire County Council) to develop community growing spaces. The result is 16 new community allotments and an end to fly-tipping on the land.

This is one of 8 case studies that informed our Pride in Place Policy Summary.
