This factsheet provides a summary of Scottish data on attitudes to and use of public library services.

The data was collected by Ipsos Mori on behalf of the Carnegie UK Trust in an omnibus poll carried out in all five jurisdictions covered by the Trust in its work (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland). The polls were conducted over the period June-September 2016 and August-October 2011. 1000 people aged 18 and over were surveyed in 2016 and 1002 people aged over 18 were surveyed in 2011.

  • Five Country Factsheets: shows how England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales are faring
  • Country Factsheets: shows how individual jurisdictions are faring in England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales
